CCSV Men’s Ministry Team

The Men’s Ministry Team exists to encourage spiritual growth, fellowship, and service among the men of our church. This team coordinates events, Bible studies, and outreach opportunities designed to help men strengthen their relationship with God, build meaningful connections with one another, and serve both the church and the wider community.

Responsibilities include planning regular gatherings, supporting men in their faith journey, fostering mentorship, and organizing service projects. The team aims to create a welcoming environment where men can grow in faith, accountability, and leadership.

CCSV Women’s Ministry Team

The CCSV Women’s Ministry Team is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, fellowship, and service among the women of our congregation. This ministry provides opportunities for women to connect, support one another, and strengthen their faith through Bible study, prayer groups, outreach projects, and social events. Members work together to serve the church and the community, encouraging one another to live out Christian values in daily life.

The team is open to all women in the church, regardless of age or background, and aims to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued. Through collaboration and shared leadership, the Women’s Team Ministry seeks to empower women to use their gifts for God’s glory and make a positive impact both within and beyond the church walls.

CCSV Care Team Ministry

The CCSV Care Team Ministry is dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the congregation. This ministry provides compassionate care through outreach, prayer, practical assistance, and encouragement during times of need, illness, or crisis. Volunteers on the care team visit members, deliver meals, send cards, and offer a listening ear, ensuring that no one feels alone or unsupported within the church community.

The team coordinates with church leadership to identify needs and organize responses, fostering a culture of genuine love and service. Participation in the Care Team Ministry is open to those who feel called to extend Christ’s compassion, and training is provided to equip volunteers for sensitive and effective ministry.

CCSV Prayer Team Ministry

The CCSV Prayer Team Ministry is dedicated to supporting the spiritual life of the congregation through consistent and fervent prayer. This team gathers regularly to pray for the needs of individuals, the church, the community, and the world. Members provide confidential prayer support, uphold church leaders and ministries, and respond to specific prayer requests submitted by the congregation. The ministry welcomes anyone with a heart for intercession and a commitment to nurturing faith through prayer, seeking to create a caring, compassionate, and spiritually vibrant church environment.

CCSV Gleaning Team Ministry

The CCSV Gleaning Team Ministry is dedicated to serving the community by working in partnership with the St. Mary’s Food Bank to glean the fruit trees of Sun Village residents. Team members work together to gather and load various fruit collected, embodying the biblical principle of gleaning as a form of compassion and stewardship.

This ministry requires volunteers who are committed to outreach, teamwork, and service; ensuring all donations are handled with care and respect. Through their efforts, the Gleaning Team not only meets physical needs but also fosters relationships and shares Christ’s love throughout the community.

CCSV Community Outreach Team Ministry

Empowering Service and Connection

The Community Outreach Team Ministry is dedicated to serving the needs of our local community by reaching out and sharing the love of Christ. The ministry coordinates outreach activities through a variety of ministries, gatherings, and special events throughout the year.

Team members work together to identify community needs, organize resources, and build relationships with local organizations and residents. By fostering a spirit of inclusion and care, the Outreach Team seeks to be a positive presence in the community, inviting others to experience hope and belonging through meaningful engagement and support.

 

CCSV First Impressions Team Ministry

The First Impressions Team is a vital ministry within the church, dedicated to creating a welcoming and friendly environment for all who enter our doors. Team members greet guests and regular attendees with warmth, offer assistance as needed, and help guests feel comfortable by answering questions and providing directions. This ministry strives to reflect the love of Christ through genuine hospitality, ensuring that every person experiences a positive and memorable first impression of our church community.

Responsibilities include greeting people at entrances, assisting with seating, providing information about church services and programs, and being available to respond to any immediate needs. Team members work together to foster an atmosphere of openness and belonging, making sure everyone feels valued from the moment they arrive.
 

CCSV Safety Team Ministry

The Church Safety Team is dedicated to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all who enter our church. This ministry works proactively to prevent and respond to emergencies, maintains awareness of safety protocols, and serves as a visible presence during worship services and church events. Members of the team are trained in basic emergency response, first aid, and conflict de-escalation, always prioritizing the well-being of our congregation and guests. By fostering a spirit of vigilance and compassion, the Safety Team helps our church remain a secure and peaceful place for worship, fellowship, and ministry.
 

CCSV Audio Visual Team Ministry

The Audio Visual (AV) Team Ministry is dedicated to enhancing worship services and church events through the effective use of sound, lighting, and visual technologies. Team members operate and maintain equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, and video cameras to ensure clear communication and an engaging worship experience. The ministry works closely with the pastor, worship leader, musicians, and other church leaders to support both in-person and online gatherings, striving to foster an atmosphere where everyone can connect and participate fully. Training is provided for volunteers interested in learning about AV systems, and a spirit of teamwork and service is at the heart of this ministry.
 

CCSV Christian Education Team Ministry

The Christian Education Team is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and biblical understanding of all church members through a comprehensive approach to teaching and learning. This ministry oversees the development, coordination, and implementation of educational programs such as Sunday School, Life groups, Bible studies, and the Bible Learning Center. Team members work collaboratively to select appropriate curricula, train volunteers and teachers, and organize special events or workshops that promote lifelong faith formation.

Key responsibilities include regularly assessing the educational needs of the congregation, fostering an environment of inclusion and engagement, and supporting members, regular attendees, and guests in their faith journeys. The team serves as a resource for both teachers and learners, encouraging participation, providing materials, and ensuring that all programs reflect the church’s mission and core values.
