Community Church at Sun Village strives to be obedient to the heart of Jesus by helping to "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19-20). We currently support eight career missionaries who serve on five continents.

We also initiated a special project of broadcasting the Gospel via satellite into Iran and Afghanistan in partnership with SAT-7 Ministries.
Purpose, Roles, and Responsibilities
The Church Missions Team Ministry exists to lead, coordinate, and support the church’s outreach efforts both locally and globally. Its primary purpose is to fulfill the church’s mission of sharing the gospel, serving those in need, and building relationships that foster spiritual growth and cultural understanding.
• Develop and promote mission opportunities for church members.
• Identify and build relationships with missionaries and organizations aligned with the church’s values and vision.
• Organize educational events and resources to raise awareness about missions and encourage congregational involvement.
• Facilitate and manage financial support for mission projects and partners.
• Pray regularly for missionaries, mission efforts, and those being served worldwide.
• Communicate updates, testimonies, and needs from the mission field to the congregation to foster engagement and support.
• Strong commitment to the church’s mission and vision.
• Passion for serving others and sharing the gospel.
• Willingness to work collaboratively, respecting diverse cultures and perspectives.
• Ability to plan, organize, and communicate effectively within the team and to the broader church community.
By serving on the Missions Team, members play a vital role in embodying Christ’s love and expanding the church’s impact beyond its walls. The ministry encourages ongoing spiritual growth, compassion, and global awareness among all participants.
